Carlisle Family Clinic Providers
Dr. Paul G. Varahrami
Dr. Paul G. Varahrami brings over 10 years of clinical experience in primary care to the practice. His journey in primary care began while making house calls to indigent patients as a medical student in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Lehigh Valley Hospital in 2002 and later practiced outpatient medicine in Austin, Texas. He calls these experiences the "hands on years," merging his medical knowledge with bedside patient care.
Dr. Varahrami helped establish Carlisle Internal Medicine in 2004. He highlights the importance of preventive medicine with routine screenings and exams. He began the "Walk with the Doc" program in 2010 to help patients realize the impact of daily walking on their longevity. In 2011, he was featured in "Five questions about what seniors can do to prevent falls" by the Sunday Patriot News. Dr. Varahrami is excited about the future of Carlisle Internal Medicine. "We will always center the practice around the patient. We will listen and guide our patients appropriately. We are as devoted to them as they are to us."
Dr. Varahrami often travels to Mexico and Central America with his wife, Cristina, and son Gibran. Together they enjoy snorkeling, fishing, and exploring new cultures.
